ACAMB to deepen knowledge of banks’ activities

…Reelects Bolarinwa as association’s president
The newly elected President of the Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) Rasheed Bolarinwa has reiterated the association’s resolve to deepen knowledge of banking activities and pull customers from financial ignorance.

Bolarinwa, who was reelected as the President of the association at the group’s elections and yearly general meeting held in Lagos said the association, in collaboration with other professional bodies, addresses problems that usually arise in the process of banking transactions.

He decried the issue of adverse media from unscrupulous people who want to use the banks as a soft target.

Further, he urged customers to refrain from using various social media platforms to express their grievances whenever they are dissatisfied with bank transactions and rather, to explore call centres dedicated to resolving customer issues.

Before the election, Bolarinwa served as the president for the first tenure from 2022 and 2023.

After the swearing-in of new executives, Bolarinwa lauded members of the association for the opportunity to serve.

He appreciated the immediate past executives and promised to consolidate on the gains and explore new frontiers to take the association to greater heights.

“With the new executive committee, we will continue to strive for excellence, explore avenues for growth, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.

“Our communication platform will foster flourishing ideas, strengthen relationships, and harness the collective wisdom of our diverse membership, from elders and past presidents to current members and associates, propelling us forward,” Bolarinwa said.
