A shipping and maritime law firm, Akabogu and Associates, has concluded plans to host the Ship Acquisition and Maritime Finance Masterclass on April 11 and 12 in Lagos.
The firm, in a statement, to announce the programme, emphasised the importance of understanding risks, options, procedures and implications for the acquisition or disposal of maritime assets from a Nigerian law perspective.
According to the firm, “With markets poised for AfCFTA shipping, a new seaport and refinery in Lagos.” deregulated petroleum products supply under the Petroleum Industry Act, and disbursement of the Cabotage Vessel Financing Fund, it is good business to be prepared.”
