Biologix gets ISO accreditation, unveils new logo, innovative biotech services

BiologixBiologix Support Services Ltd, a leading biotechnology company in Nigeria, has announced its accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by Nigeria National Accreditation System (NiNAS) for its calibration laboratory.

ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories, which demonstrates their competence, impartiality and consistency to deliver reliable results attainable globally.


Announcing the feet in Lagos on Wednesday, the Chief Executive Officer, Biologix Laboratories and Support Services, Dr Voke Toye, said this achievement underscores the company’s commitment to quality and competence in providing calibration services.

Also, the company, as part of efforts to continuously improve its services, unveiled new logos for the laboratories and support services, as well as new range of added services.

“Our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, new logos and services mark a significant milestone in our journey towards becoming a leading biotechnology company in Nigeria and Africa.

“We remain committed to providing our clients with the highest quality services and solutions that are easily accessible locally, more affordable and with shorter turnaround times. Also speaking, the Chairman, Biologix Laboratories and Support Services, Adeola Toye, said the launch of the new services cater to the needs of the company’s clients and the broader biotechnology space in Nigeria.

According to him, the services, which include a broad range of molecular diagnostic test, DNA Sequencing and other pathology services, are designed to meet the demands of the fast-evolving biotechnology landscape and provide its clients with the latest cutting-edge solutions.
