Bishop Obi is Grand Patron Nigeria Police Chaplaincy

The Bishop of the Diocese of Nnewi (Anglican Communion), Rt. Rev Ndubuisi Obi has been awarded the Grand Patron of the Police Chaplaincy, Anambra Police Command, Awka. 
 
By this award, the Bishop has become a distinguished Police Chaplaincy stakeholder and an active supporter of the Police Christian Ministry in Nigeria.
 
Obi received this honorary award on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at the Police Headquarters’ Chapel, Awka, Anambra State.
 
Other servants of God who received similar award at the same time included the Rt. Rev. Owen Nwokolo, Bishop, Diocese On the Niger; Bishop E. C. Obiorah, Life of Faith Gospel Assembly; and Pastor Emmanuel Ogbodo, State Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church.          
 
Among personalities that witnessed the conferment are Clerical Assistant to the Bishop, Venerable Nelson Ifeanyi Iluno; the Diocesan Police Chaplain, Rev. Goodnews Akunwanne; Ven. Chidi Obi (Principal, BUMSEM); Rev. Canon Odilichukwu Onyekaba (newly appointed Archdeaconry Supervisor); Rev. Arinze Alagwu; and Rev. Sunday Nkwo, 
 Others were Reverend (Inspector) Onwuka Sixtus, the Officer-in-Charge of the Chaplaincy, Anambra State Police Command; Venerable (SP) Abiodun Omolaja; ACP Festus Irorere; and Commissioner of Police J. B. Abang.
