AN All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Special Adviser (Political) to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, Charles Idahosa, says the President Muhammadu administration would restore the dignity of the nation and citizenry, stressing that the Nigerian passport would again be respected among countries of the world.

He told journalists in Benin City that Buhari’s stance on corruption and his efforts at establishing strong economic, political and social ties with the international community would bring about respectability of Nigerians abroad.

Idahosa regretted that the citizens had suffered undue humiliation in the hands of immigration and security agencies of countries that share international ties with Nigeria because they are erroneously considered as people with criminal tendencies.

The governor aide said in spite of all, he remained hopeful of the country regaining its lost glory among comity of nations.

“No, No, No, there is no way I can give up on Nigeria because I know Nigeria is a great country. I have travelled far and wide. I have had the privilege of schooling in England at a very tender age and I was in England when they were taking our Nigerian passport as collateral to give us loan in the banks,” he said.
