The long list for the Man Booker Prize already had our own Chigozie Obioma and it was a great honour to have him on that list, the short list was announced today at a press conference in London.

He made it and he is part of six authors to be shortlisted.

Sunjeev Sahota, Great Britain
The Year of the Runaways

Anne Tyler, U.S.
A Spool of Blue Thread

Hanya Yanagihara, U.S.
A Little Life

The award ceremony would be happening on the 13th of October, 2015
