As part of activities to mark its golden jubilee, Light Chapel —Jesus Is Light Ministries — Lagos, last week, donated some gift items to the SOS Children’s Village in Isolo.
Some of the items included bags of rice, cartons of indomie, toiletries, groundnut oil, among others.
The General Overseer of the church, Pastor Emily Morenike Olaojo, said the gesture was ongoing activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the church.
She disclosed that this is the second time the church is donating gifts to the village, adding that the first time was in 2005 when her husband was still alive.
She said: “Light Chapeland the ministry is 50 years. I am happy we are here today to present some gifts to the children. We came here some years ago before the founder passed away. We will like you to accept the little we have brought for the children and God will continue to bless each of you in Jesus’ name.”
