THE General Overseer of the Soul Winning Chapel, Rev. Moses Iloh, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to remain focused on his effort to fight corruption and insecurity, among other myriads of problems facing the country.

He noted that the country desires a serious change, especially in the area of security. He reminded the president that his victory was from God.

At the one-year anniversary of Berean Believers Fellowship Int’l, a non-denominational Christian fellowship in Lagos, the cleric, represented by Rev. Hyacinth Anie, urged Nigerians to pray for the president, saying that Buhari will not fail them going by his antecedents and zero tolerance for corruption.

Said he: “God is going to use him to right some wrong that has become part of our system. He should beware of political jobbers, who may likely sabotage his good aspirations.”

While pointing out that Buhari should not depend on information from the people around him, he said: “Some of these people, who are closer to him may be sycophants, always there to work against the people’s interest.”

On the role of some Christian leaders in the 2015 election, the clergyman took a swipe at those that took side in their utterances and predictions during the electioneering campaign. He advised them to remain committed to their divine calling, if actually they are clergies, rather than heating up the polity.

The Pastor and Co-ordinator of Berean Believers Fellowship Int’l, Wilson Arikpo emphasised the need for Christians to be conversant with God’s word at this critical age of man, as this is the basis for Biblical Christianity.
