In a remarkable milestone, Elgee Info Magazine, a trailblazing community publication, is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, GRA, Ikeja.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the magazine, Samuel Akinyemi, the anticipated event aims to honour and recognise the impactful contributions of grassroots achievers in Lagos State that are showcasing excellence in local council administration as well as individuals who have contributed immensely to the development and progress of their constituencies.
The anniversary celebration will shine a spotlight on the success stories of outstanding grassroots achievers and their achievements through a refined storytelling, audio-visual documentary, capturing the essence of their remarkable journeys and positive influence on their respective communities.
Besides, a major highlight of the event will be the presentation of a comprehensive compendium, highlighting the noteworthy achievements of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, alongside the big 10 grassroots achievers.
The compendium, according to it, aims to showcase the transformative initiatives and progress brought about by dedicated leaders within Lagos State.The 10th anniversary celebration will not only serve as a platform for recognition but also feature an enlightening lecture on grassroots governance.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical insights into effective local council administration, courtesy of the keynote speaker, Kehinde Bamigbetan, the Special Adviser to the Minister for Mineral Resources.
