Jeremiah had abandoned his university education due to financial challenges and relocated to Lagos to hawk bottled water on the roads.

His rise from grass to grace began when he was filmed by a motorist, Ojo Emmanuel, who was moved by his generosity while distributing money to prisoners being conveyed to the correctional centre.

Sharing the video of the scene on his Instagram page, Emmanuel wrote: “Just a few minutes ago at Ajah waiting for the traffic light, bottled water seller shares at least 70 per cent of the cash on him to the inmates in this Nigerian Correctional Service bus.

“I have never been this impressed by such an act of love and generosity.”

The Chairman of the Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana, saw the video and invited the young man.

The billionaire businessman did not only place Jeremiah on a monthly salary of N100, 000 but also asked him to restart his academics.

Jeremiah was recently seen in a plane returning to Ebonyi State to continue his education.
