As part of efforts to boost the physical and mental well-being of insurance industry executives and also provide networking opportunity for industry workers, Africa Reinsurance Corporation is hosting a golf tournament for the industry CEOs at the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938 today.
The event is expected to attract over 100 golfers to the course.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, the Regional Director of Africa Reinsurance, Anglophone West Africa, Africa Reinsurance,said the CEOs golf tournament provides a rare opportunity for industry leaders to compete and exchange ideas in a more relaxed atmosphere.
“The additional benefits derived from playing golf cannot be wished-away… it provides abundant business opportunities, growth of social capital and win-win health benefits,” she said.
She added that the tournament will also serve as opportunity for Africa Re, led by its Group Managing Director, Corneille Karekezi, to celebrate a major milestone achievement in 2023 as a one billion premium dollar company.
She said that winners in different categories will get prizes for their efforts.
