Dismissed Nigerian Navy personnel, Muhammed Tunde (dismissed since 2000), making people believe he’s a serving military personnel, charges N20,000 to bring his boys and beat up anybody for people.

Nigerian police has arrested former Navy officer Muhammed Tunde, who specialises in recruiting armed gangs to beat up offenders for a service fee of N20,000.

Tunde was dismissed Nigerian Navy in 2000.

Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin in a post on X said Tunde made people believe he was still in active service as a military personnel.

According to Hundeyin, Tunde allegedly charged N20,000 to pose as a military officer and have his accomplices beat up people.

He said Tunde was apprehended by police while he and his associates were assaulting a hotel staff.

Hundeyin said Tunde was contracted by a customer who was asked to stop smoking in a non-smoking area of the hotel but refused and resorted to hiring a gang to assault the hotel staff.
