The police in Lagos State have arrested two persons; Lekan Ibrahim and Olumide Oladiji for traffic robbery in the Lekki area of the state. The suspects allegedly disguised themselves as beggars and approached a motorist in Agungi, Lekki area of Lagos and forcefully collected his phone and gold necklace.
Spokesperson for Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said the victim quickly alerted the patrol men of Ilasan Police Division stationed at Jakande roundabout and they immediately swung into action.
“The suspects were arrested and taken to the station while the stolen items were recovered from them. They would be arraigned in court accordingly,” Hundeyin said.
