Evil dedication is another means by which battles can be extended in the lives of men. Some parents dedicate their children, at infancy, to a water goddess or a deity. Often times, this is done out of ignorance or in an attempt to find solution to a problem.
When such children become adults, they find themselves fighting repeated battles and struggling to break out of the effects of such dedications. Demonic covenants can also extend battles in the life of a man. A covenant is an agreement entered knowingly or unknowingly. When you consult a witch doctor or false prophet and incisions are made on your body or on your hair and your fingernails are cut, these are signs of a demonic covenant. Such materials taken from you or the blood spilled from the incisions are tokens of the evil covenant. Such victims may from time to time experience in their dreams demonic visitation and they wake up to find scratches all over their bodies. The powers that be are responsible for this. They come to renew the covenant, especially when they see that you are about to break out of it.
I was ministering in a programme sometime ago and I received a word of knowledge that someone in that service was booked to die on April 17. As I mentioned it, a lady cried out and the voice speaking inside of her said it was an agreement they entered with her father that she would die on that date, which was her 40th birthday. Thank God for His mercies and she was delivered. That is why it is good to be at the right location of your help and deliverance at the right time. May God order your steps always in Jesus’ name. I decree that every evil covenant you entered knowingly or unknowingly is broken today by the power of the Holy Ghost. Isaiah 28:18 says: “Your covenant with death will be cancelled and your agreement with such evil powers shall not stand.”
Other ways battles can be extended in one’s life is by negative habits like complaining, nagging, unnecessary anger, gambling and so on. Finally, we have ancestral altars that can activate negative patterns in a family from one generation to another. Some of the symptoms of prolonged battles are having dreams of seeing your friends or helpers as your enemies. Having simple sickness like malaria that takes ages to go despite medications or a particular problem in your life that defies solution. Another is when your helpers begin to avoid you.
Lastly, having recurrent negative dreams. To deal with all of these, surrender your life to Jesus, cry unto God and never give up in any battle you are faced with. Finally, do a spiritual investigation to know the cause of such extended battles.
