Every new season comes with different changes. There could be change of environment, friends, habits and language. The way you used to do things might not fit into your next level. You cannot put old wine in a new wine skin, Matt. 9:17. You need certain new habits and friends to sustain your new season. May God delete every old ways and excess luggage from your life in Jesus’ name.
One thing a new season brings is new challenges. For every new level, there must be a new devil waiting to stop you. The enemy is never happy when he sees you enter your next level in spite of all the troubles and delays you have been through. If you overcame him before, he wants to see that you move no step further, but God that saw you through will do much more for you in Jesus’ name.
David was faced with the bear and lion after he was anointed, but God used it to prepare him for a greater contest with Goliath. His victory in this encounter introduced him to the palace and even his marriage to the King’s daughter. Sometimes our enemies do more for us than our friends do. Another challenge David had was, contending with the javelin of King Saul. May God give you victory over every challenge that life throws at you in Jesus’ name.
A new season also brings in new champions. From time to time, the old champion, Goliath was reigning and no one could challenge him, but when David’s season came, the old champion was dethroned and the new champion in the person of David was enthroned, 1 Sam. 17:50-54. The old champion could represent the old man in you or your old self that was once celebrated. Understand that there is always a better level than where you are now. You must learn to rise and develop yourself to bring out a better version of you in your business, ministry, relationship and career. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, then the old champion is still reigning in you. Step out into a new season today, let Christ be enthroned as the new champion in your life.
Surrender your life to Him now!

1. Father, give me the wisdom to manage the changes that comes with my new season.
2. Every power assigned to cover the manifestation of my new season, receive fire in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, let my new season introduce me to greatness in Jesus’ name.
4. Father, turn every challenge in my life to celebration in Jesus’ name.
5. Every weapon of the enemy assigned against me, backfire in Jesus’ name.
6. O Lord, let my problems be a stepping-stone to my new season in Jesus’ name.
7. I dethrone every old champion reigning in my life in Jesus’ name.
8. Father, let the new champion in me manifest by fire.
