Casablanca: The Modern Morocco

There would arguably be no match for a stunning city to give a traveller a glimpse into the beauty and serenity of a country than Casablanca did.

The Moroccan largest city was the perfect place to start and end our six-day trip. It is the dream destination for shopping. From arrival at Mohammed V International Airport, one is immediately struck by the city’s blend of modernity and tradition.

While Casablanca is a gateway to other amazing destinations in Morocco, it also offers plenty of attractions, including the stunning Hassan II Mosque and the bustling Morocco Mall.

Tangier: The Meeting Point Of Two Seas

Tangier is a city that perfectly illustrates Morocco’s unique position at the crossroads of Europe and Africa. A train journey from Casablanca presented a charming introduction to Morocco’s diverse landscapes.

A historic city brewing charm, Tangier – a new and old town known as Medina – boasts stunning coastal views to the comfort of dwellers and every traveler’s delight.

Tangier hosts the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

Chefchaouen: The Blue City

Chefchaouen, known as the Blue City due to its distinctive blue-painted buildings, is a serene town nestled in the Rif Mountains. It offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of larger cities.

Walking through the narrow, winding streets, surrounded by calming blue hues, Chefchaouen gives the feel of stepping into a dream city. The views of the surrounding mountains added to the town’s enchanting atmosphere.

Marrakech: Morocco’s Culture Revealed

Marrakech houses a host of cultural heritages of the Moroccan history. One such is the Musée des Confluences, which showcases Morocco’s rich cultural heritage through its diverse exhibits.

A stroll through Jamaal El Fna Square showcased the vibrant life of Marrakech, with its lively markets, street performers, and tantalizing food stalls.
