Winners emerge from digital teachers’ competition

Three national winners and 15 regional winners have emerged from the National Digital Teachers’ Competition put together by the Federal Ministry of Education and Skool Media, Nigeria’s top education technology company.

The event serves as a platform to promote educational standard among teachers by integrating the use of digital tools and methods.

Teachers from more than 100 federal unity colleges in Nigeria participated in the competition, demonstrating their ability to use technology to enhance students’ learning experience.


High point of the competition was the recognition of outstanding educators at both national and regional levels. The top three national winners: Zainab Umar from Federal Government College Kaduna won N200,000 + 1 Exam Padi Tablet; Oloye Olajide Augustin from Federal Government Girls College Oyo won N150,000 + 1 Exam Padi Tablet while Abraham Ngobiri from Federal Government College, Enugu won N100,000 + 1 Exam Padi Tablet.

Fifteen regional winners were celebrated for their exceptional performance in integrating digital technologies into their teaching practices. These winners, representing various regions across Nigeria, were awarded customized Exam Padi Tablets to further enhance their teaching capabilities and subject expertise.
